Wasington Plumbers
- To renew your Plumbing Contractors License in the state of Washington, you are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- A minimum of 8 hours must cover the Plumbing Code. A minimum of 4 hours must cover Industry Related Electrical (IRE). The remaining 4 hours can cover Plumbing Code, Industry Related Electrical (IRE), or Industry Related Plumbing (IRP).
- Plumbing Contractors License expires every two years. The expiration will be on your license.
- The course provider must provide the roster of licensees whom completed the course to the department within 30 days. The department will keep the rosters on file for audit purposes only.
